Can I have my watch shipped to my home?2025-12-09T17:40:42+01:00

Can my watch be shipped to my home?

Yes—your watch can be shipped to your home. Many clients appreciate the convenience of receiving their timepiece directly at their doorstep, and Chronoglide can arrange secure shipment upon request. However, it’s important to understand the responsibilities and risks involved in this process.

Once your watch leaves our workshop, Chronoglide’s responsibility for the shipment ends. From that moment onward, the package is entirely at the owner’s risk. While we always package every watch with exceptional care, the realities of transport—loss, delays, or damage—cannot be fully controlled once the parcel is in the hands of the courier.

If you intend to insure the shipment, most insurance providers require a valid purchase receipt to establish the watch’s value. This can be straightforward for recently purchased watches but much more challenging for vintage or heirloom pieces, where receipts may no longer exist. Without proper documentation, obtaining adequate insurance coverage can be difficult, leaving some level of risk for the owner.

Because of these limitations, shipping a watch—especially a valuable or irreplaceable one—always carries some degree of uncertainty. We encourage owners to carefully consider these factors before choosing home delivery. If you have questions about the shipping process or want advice tailored to your watch, we’re always here to help.
